A State-of-the-Art Training Facility Crafted from Design to Conception

The FM Global Learning Center is an eco-friendly 40,000-square-foot state-of-the-art training facility designed to facilitate new methods of learning and idea generation for both FM Global clients and employees. 

Walker Development & Construction Management was tasked with bringing FM Global's unique vision to life. The project called for the creation of an exterior facade with a garage, man door opening, and the installation of flood doors. The purpose of this space is to train people from around the globe on FM’s one-of-a-kind flood protection system. 

We delivered the SOW, a unique rendering approved for a conceptual budget, and created a real-life scenario to give people the full intention of the design. The Walker team worked diligently with the FM team and was able to change the area as needed with minimal change to the SOW. 

With the project exceeding expectations, FM Global also hired Walker to put the finishing touches on their City of Risk space in the same building.
