From Cubicles to Collaboration

Intact Insurance sought to transform their existing office space into a modern, open, and highly functional workplace. They wanted to create an environment that felt cohesive, elevated, and built for the way people actually work today. Achieving that required more than cosmetic updates. Walker approached the project with a focus on both aesthetic impact and practical functionality, carefully removing the enclosed and segmented elements that were limiting the space, including a full cubicle demolition to make way for a newly constructed boardroom.

Throughout the renovation, glass became a defining material. Reconfigured office fronts with new glass doors and sidelights, upgraded glass entryways, and a fully updated lighting system work together to move natural light across the entire floor plan in a way the original layout never allowed. The difference is immediate and felt throughout the space.

New flooring and a complete interior repaint tied every element together, creating the kind of consistency and finish quality that signals intention rather than renovation.

The result is a reimagined workplace that prioritizes collaboration without sacrificing the polished, professional aesthetic Intact requires.
