A Complete Transformation to a State-of-the-Art Fitness Studio

Walker Development partnered with Body Fit Training to deliver a modern, open-concept gym designed for performance, comfort, and flexibility. The project began with a full demolition to create a clean slate, then introduced high-end finishes and specialized systems to support an elevated training environment.

To enhance the user experience, low-voltage systems were installed to integrate ceiling fans, lighting, and monitors with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for simple, adjustable control. The space was outfitted with advanced soundproofing—both wall systems and a drop-in ceiling—to minimize disruption to surrounding retail tenants. Mechanical upgrades included new plumbing for higher water capacity and expanded HVAC trunk lines for improved airflow.

The final build features new rubber and turf flooring, 168 square feet of mirrors in the weight area, and a bright, functional layout that reflects BFT’s global brand standards. With over 300 studios worldwide, Walker was proud to partner with BFT and help bring this innovative fitness concept to life.
