Multi-Phase EIFS Restoration for an Active Retail Property
Walker Development was engaged to complete a comprehensive repair and restoration of an existing Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), ensuring full compliance with manufacturer installation standards. The scope included replacing all fasteners and washers, applying a new base coat and finish, custom color matching, and replacing all flashing. Exterior lighting and logo signage were carefully removed and reinstalled as part of the process.
The multi-phase project required close coordination to accommodate an active site that included an adjacent post office, an operating retail complex, and multiple tenants with ongoing exterior access needs. Additional planning was required to manage cold-weather conditions and maintain a tight, well-sequenced schedule.
Walker Development worked collaboratively with the client, landlord, and subcontractors to develop competitive pricing options and expedite work during off-hours when needed to avoid weather-related delays. Multiple rounds of color testing were conducted to ensure the new EIFS finish matched the existing appearance precisely. The result is a refreshed exterior that restores building performance while delivering a clean, updated look aligned with the brand and its surroundings.
