Transforming a High-Traffic Academic Hub

Bentley University partnered with Walker Development to reimagine a heavily used building on campus. The project involved a full renovation of a PhD classroom and adjacent common area, transforming it into a modern, multi-functional lounge designed to support collaboration, study, and campus life.

To ensure the project stayed on schedule, Walker Development established a temporary learning space two weeks ahead of construction—allowing classes to continue uninterrupted while work began over the holiday break.

Key upgrades included specialty millwork, high-performance flooring, HVAC enhancements, plumbing improvements, and a custom lighting package that brings warmth and vibrancy to the space.

Completed three days ahead of the new semester, the project reflects the strength of Bentley and Walker’s ongoing partnership and shared commitment to quality, efficiency, and student experience.
