A Complete Demolition Made Way for Purpose, Progress and Possibilities
Designed to support clinical care, staff efficiency, and a calm, welcoming experience for clients and families, this project transformed an existing interior into a fully purpose-built autism center. We began with complete demolition, followed by the construction of new code-compliant restrooms, a dedicated staff break room, and a reimagined reception area featuring a glass wall to enhance visibility, safety, and openness.
Custom millwork was incorporated throughout to promote durability, organization, and ease of maintenance. Energy-efficient LED lighting and control systems provide consistent, comfortable illumination appropriate for a therapeutic environment. The project also included the installation of new structural steel to accommodate a roof penetration for an exhaust fan, along with complete interior painting and accent walls selected to reinforce a structured, calming atmosphere.
Through detailed sequencing, off-hours work, early-morning scheduling, and proactive communication, disruptions were minimized and the project remained on track. The result is a thoughtfully designed autism center tailored to the specific operational and environmental needs of specialized care.
