New Headquarters for a Global Pharmaceutical Research Company
KalVista Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing life-changing treatments, partnered with Walker Development to create a new headquarters in Framingham designed to support innovation, collaboration, and growth. The project reimagined the office environment across two floors, introducing dynamic layouts and varied architectural angles that bring energy and movement throughout the space.
The headquarters features modern offices alongside thoughtfully designed amenities, including a custom feature wall and mural, game room, live moss installation, and a sophisticated lighting control system with distinctive fixtures. Open-ceiling café areas create an industrial aesthetic and are equipped with new appliances, a kegerator, and dynamic glass partitions serving conference and training rooms.
Walker installed new plumbing, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, HVAC, access control, security, electrical, and IT infrastructure. A customized boardroom with a dynamic ceiling and fully integrated technology, along with a first-floor “town hall” space designed for large gatherings, completes a workplace built to support connection, flexibility, and innovation.
