Elevating a Space for Optimal Collaboration

While the pandemic precipitated hard changes for many companies, others used it as an opportunity to rethink their approaches, employee engagement, and office spaces. That’s just what Kaon Interactive, Inc. did, departing from a traditional cube layout into a modern environment where their employees arrive to collaborate, brainstorm, and socialize.

Housed in a complex of brick buildings in Maynard, Massachusetts, these unique buildings hold big history; originally, the mills produced wool for military uniforms in the Civil War. Playing off the original structure, the space boasts large windows and beautiful brick walls.

The new office features workstations arranged in groups, hybrid meeting rooms, a library, giant whiteboard walls, and plenty of couches. Employees now work on a hybrid schedule and are welcomed in their new environment several days a week.
