Coordinated Office Renovation Supporting Growth and Operations
Generac Clean Energy Systems Northeast Division engaged Walker Development to serve as it’s construction manager and to provide design and architectural services. Close coordination ensured alignment on scope, sequencing, and schedule to keep the project moving efficiently.
The existing office and open work areas received new carpet and paint, while the conference room was reconfigured with added doors and windows, along with refreshed finishes. A new IT room was framed and constructed to meet higher-level technical and operational requirements.
Employee experience was a key focus throughout the project. The employee entrance was redesigned and rebuilt to improve access and ease of use, and the cafeteria and lunchroom were fully demolished, reconfigured, and expanded to support company growth. The upgraded kitchen includes new cabinetry, countertops, a sink, updated flooring, and paint.
During demolition, unforeseen conditions were discovered beneath the existing floor tile. Walker coordinated remediation and removal with qualified subcontractors in full compliance with local regulations and code, ensuring the project continued safely and responsibly.
